It's been a while...

I'm sick of looking at my last post and thinking about how I haven't done anything worth posting about in months so I'm going to feign productivity by writing a new post about how I've done nothing! Actually that's not entirely true, I've submitted some stuff to the art portal including a sketch book image I drew a couple years ago thanks to my trusty new scanner/printer. I plan on utilizing that bastard in the future too, I've been wanting one forever. Now the digital / analog art form barrier has been smashed in the balls.

I've also been toying with ideas for a new Beebo episode. SO DON'T ASK, god damn snot nosed fuckin' mother fuckers....

I'm not quite sure I understand what the whole medal system is about. Is this site's content lacking such that people need fake rewards to enjoy it? I understand people want bragging rights but most metals I've noticed have been for pretty unimpressive achievements and lord knows it doesn't take much effort to get to the end of my games. I guess I'll look into it if I ever make another interactive submission.

What you mean playing ADC isn't an acheivement in itself? Heh.

Seriously, though the medals in themselves are useless, I agree - but to me, getting all of the medals in a game shows that one has completed what a game has to see, rather than giving it a quick load, play, then forget forever.

Have they beaten every boss? Gotten a certain amount of points? Explored every possible ending? A few of those badges in themselves are blah, but collecting all of the badges in a game represents a true achievement rather than a fragmented one.

For example. African Detroit Cop.

Medal: Party like its 2001! (5 Points)
- Load African Detroit Cop

Medal: Dancing Idiot (5 Points)
- Dance for every encounter

Medal: Violence is the Answer! (5 Points)
- Use the gun for every encounter

Medal: Mediator (5 Points)
- Talk for every encounter

Medal: Off duty (5 Points)
- Ignore every encounter

Medal: Rotten Bastard (10 Points)
- Shoot Carl Levin

Medal: Bad Cop (10 Points)
- Get the Lowest Score Possible

Medal: Good Cop (10 Points)
- Get the Highest Score Possible

Medal: Got Dead! (5 Points)
- Get shot in the bad ending

Medal: John Paul Lives (5 Points)
- Have the Pope save you in the bad ending

Medal: Not Fired (25 Points)
- Beat the game

Of course, you don't have to disclose what you have to do to get each medal.

If you still think this is a bunch of crap, at the very least I -beg- you to fix the game. It crashes on the robot fight.
