I usually am not a fan of movies as opposed to games but i like the cartoonish look of this. my only problem is the lack of color. it makes all the great artwork look unfinished. you should really experiment with it. maybe try just using black, white and red. all the black and white entries make me sleepy and seem to take away from the movie. most of the time i think "artists choice" is an excuse for laziness.

And most of the time you would be right, Fab. But in this case, you're seeing characters and concepts that were originally use in black and white print, so the cartoons are staying in that vein, in addition to being an homage to the genre films of the past that were mostly black and white.

say no to frame by frame

i can appreciate all the work that goes into frame by frame cartoons but an equal if not greater amount of work goes into other forms of animation as well. it's no excuse for a 10 second (if that) piece of crap. i could hardly tell what was going on. sorry but if you want to make frame by frame that looks good your gonna have to work your ass off at least 10 times as much as you did on this. not bad dawings though. that's why i give you a three.

well it looks cool. but it's not very awful original and spawn isn't exactly "popular" anymore. the backgrounds looked sort of dull too and there wasn't too much to this. i hope the actual thing is better because if its just a bunch of capes and shadows don't get your hopes up. and seeing how this is a comic book character people are going to expect some kick ass effects.

three tips. find something a little more fitting than powerman 5000, don't apologize at the end (if you think it was so bad that you had to apologize at the end you shouldn't have posted it in the first place) and finaly try making what he says more visible. maybe use subtitles?

This is a well done horrible movie. These types of movies seem to do pretty well. I wonder why nobody ever LISTENS TO THEM!!! Stickmen and overuse of gradients seem to go hand in hand.
